PA and Legal Secretary

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded local authority organisation for an experienced PA & Legal Secretary. This role requires providing a full range of personal assistant and legal administrative support in a professional, confidential, and effective manner, ensuring all key timelines are met.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and personal assistant support including diary management, meeting coordination, document preparation, and correspondence.
- Prepare, format, and proofread a wide range of legal and governance documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage electronic and paper filing systems in line with data protection and policies.
- Facilitate the submission of committee reports and assist with project administrative support.
- Support the administration of governance work as required.
- Act as the first point of contact for the Head of Law, managing communications and liaising with various stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- GCSE English (or equivalent).
- Relevant secretarial or administrative qualification or substantial relevant experience.
- Significant experience in a secretarial or administrative role supporting senior managers.
- High level of IT literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Professional, discreet, and reliable with a high level of personal integrity and the ability to handle confidential information.
