We're partnering with a growing organisation seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join its Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering a seamless payroll service across the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing the full payroll cycle from new starters through to payroll completion and payment.
- Processing statutory payments, pensions, RTI submissions, tax code changes and payroll documentation.
- Preparing payroll journals, accruals and reconciliations.
- Working closely with HR to maintain accurate employee data.
- Acting as a key contact for payroll, pay, deduction and pension queries.
- Liaising with HMRC, pension providers and other external stakeholders.
- Producing payroll reports and supporting wider finance projects.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Payroll Specialist, Payroll Officer or Senior Payroll position.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, pensions, National Insurance and statutory payments.
- Experience with RTI submissions and payroll reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong Excel skills.
- CIPP qualification or equivalent payroll experience would be advantageous.
