The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial information to support key business decisions whilst ensuring strong financial controls and reporting processes are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and accompanying commentary
- Produce balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Analyse financial performance and provide insight to key stakeholders
- Assist with month-end and year-end processes
- Maintain and improve financial controls and procedures
- Support cash flow reporting and forecasting
- Prepare KPI reports and management information packs
- Assist with audit requirements and statutory reporting
- Partner with operational teams to support commercial decision making
About You
- Experience in a Management Accountant position or similar finance role
- AAT qualified, part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience
- Strong month-end accounting experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
