We are looking for a reliable and caring Community Delivery Driver to join our team delivering frozen meals and food products to elderly and vulnerable customers in their own homes.
This is more than just a driving role, our drivers provide an important service to customers, many of whom value the friendly face and support they receive during deliveries.
Key Responsibilities -
- Deliver food orders to customers homes.
- Carry deliveries into customers homes and place stock where requested.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly, professional approach.
- Complete deliveries accurately and efficiently.
- Carry out basic welfare observations and report any concerns in line with company procedures.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and safety standards are maintained
What we're looking for -
- Full UK driving licence
- Up to 3 points
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Comfortable entering customers homes and putting stock away as required.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying food deliveries.
- Compassionate, patient and respectful when working with elderly and vulnerable individuals.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
