Class 2 Driver & Warehouse Operative
- Annual Salary: £29,500

- Job Type: Temp to Perm
- Working Hours: 7 AM to 4 PM
We are excited to offer a fantastic temporary to permanent job opportunity for a Class 2 Driver and Warehouse Operative based in Norwich. This role is ideal for individuals with previous warehouse or picking and packing experience, offering a chance to join a friendly and successful team committed to delivering quality service to clients and excellent prospects for progression.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Pick and pack orders accurately, efficiently, and safely, ensuring materials are ready for dispatch to customers on time.
- Unload vehicles efficiently and safely, taking care not to damage materials or the lorry.
- Process materials on time and according to customer specifications, quantity, and quality requirements, while adhering to machine operating procedures and health and safety requirements.
- Load vehicles according to the manifest in a safe and efficient manner, complying with vehicle regulations and the planned route.
- Move material around the warehouse efficiently and safely, ensuring no damage to property or person.
- Work to systems and procedures to ensure material is off-loaded, stored, and distributed in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to the Company Health and Safety Policy and Safe Working Practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar role involving picking and packing.
- Class 2 driving license.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
