The role will involve the following: We are seeking an experienced locum Senior Social Worker to join a dynamic Mental Health Social Care Team within Adult Social Care. This role will focus on delivering high-quality, strengths-based assessments, care planning, and interventions for adults with complex mental health needs. The postholder will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary partners, including NHS mental health services, to ensure holistic, person-centred support that promotes recovery, independence, and safeguarding. The ability to manage complex safeguarding and s117 aftercare applications and community Dols. You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, undertaking statutory duties under the Care Act, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act, and providing supervision and guidance to less experienced staff where required.
