A leading independent property consultancy is looking to appoint a dynamic and commercially driven Head of Residential Estate Agency to lead, grow and shape its established residential division across Norfolk. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to influence strategy, drive performance and enhance market presence.
The Opportunity
Reporting into senior leadership, you will act as the figurehead for the residential business, taking full responsibility for operational performance, team leadership and strategic growth. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced estate agency professional who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and represent the residential estate agency division across multiple branches
Develop and execute the residential growth strategy, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives
Drive revenue growth, profitability and overall departmental performance
Oversee and manage day-to-day sales team performance, including reviews and development plans
Maintain consistent service standards, compliance, and operational excellence across all offices
Train, mentor and support team members, including onboarding new staff
Strengthen market presence by increasing listings in both quality and volume
Lead business development initiatives and cross-referral opportunities with other departments
Conduct and win market appraisals, and support negotiations where required
Deliver clear, professional communication internally and externally
Chair regular management meetings and lead marketing initiatives
About You
Proven leadership experience within residential estate agency
Strong commercial awareness with a track record of delivering against revenue targets
Excellent communication, coaching and people management skills
Highly organised with strong planning and problem-solving ability
Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented
Solid understanding of industry legislation and compliance requirements
A collaborative team player who can inspire and engage others
