Head of Legal Practice (HoLP) - Residential Conveyancing
Location: Midlands (Hybrid Available)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or FCILEx to join a growing property law firm as Head of Legal Practice (HoLP).
This senior leadership role combines regulatory oversight, legal compliance, risk management and team leadership within a high-performing residential conveyancing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the firm's appointed Head of Legal Practice.
- Lead legal compliance, governance and risk management.
- Provide technical support on complex conveyancing matters.
- Oversee audits, complaints handling and quality assurance.
- Develop and support legal teams.
- Ensure compliance with AML, lender and regulatory requirements.
- Drive operational improvements and legal best practice.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- 5+ years PQE as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or FCILEx.
- Extensive residential conveyancing experience.
- Strong compliance and regulatory knowledge.
- Previous leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication, commercial awareness and professional judgement.
