A leading UK energy infrastructure organisation is seeking an Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to join their HR team, providing advice and guidance to managers across the business on a broad range of employee relations matters.
Acting as a critical first point of contact, you will support managers through the full employee relations lifecycle, ensuring cases are managed fairly, consistently, and in line with company policy, employment legislation, and best practice. You will play a key role in supporting disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence management, and conduct-related cases, helping to drive timely and effective case resolution while maintaining positive employee relations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and commercially minded ER professional who enjoys managing complex casework, influencing stakeholders, and working in a fast-paced operational environment.
This is an initial 12-month contract based in Coventry with hybrid working available (2 days per week in the office), the hourly rate for the role is £22.84 to £25.61 paid weekly via an Umbrella company or PAYE options also available.
Key Responsibilities
Provide timely, professional and accurate employee relations advice to managers across a range of case types, including:
Support managers throughout investigations and formal case processes, ensuring compliance with company policy and employment legislation.
Guide and challenge stakeholders to ensure investigations are robust, completed to a high standard, and progressed efficiently.
Assist in the preparation of case documentation, reports, presentations and hearing packs.
Review case information and provide practical recommendations to ensure consistency, fairness and risk mitigation.
Monitor and maintain accurate employee relations records, case files and documentation.
Analyse ER data and trends, producing management information and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate meetings, hearings and reviews, ensuring actions are tracked and followed through.
Contribute to ER projects and initiatives that support the wider people strategy.
