Cyber Security Analyst
Fixed Term Contract until 30 April 2027
Salary: £28,867
Liverpool/Hybrid Working | 2 Days per Week in the Office
A Cyber Security Analyst is required for our public sector client. The successful team will join a growing cyber team within a mature security operations environment. This role would suit someone with IT support, service desk, infrastructure or junior cyber experience who is looking to build a career in cyber security.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts through the CSOC.
- Support cyber incident investigation and resolution.
- Assist with Cyber Essentials Plus and security compliance activities.
- Support phishing simulations and penetration testing.
- Work with Microsoft security technologies, including Defender and Intune.
- Provide support across cyber operations and wider IT service delivery.
Experience:
- Interest in cyber security and technology.
- Experience in IT support, service delivery or a cyber-related role.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and security principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn, develop and work as part of a collaborative team.
