This role is based in central Ipswich, and you'll be supporting the Communications and Events Team at their busiest time over the summer. Events include both internals and external events, such as charity days, and staff events.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor a busy shared events and internal communications system inbox, ensuring timely responses and effective prioritisation of enquiries.
  • Process and coordinate commercial event letting bookings from initial enquiry through to confirmation.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external clients to gather booking requirements and provide event information.
  • Maintain accurate booking records, Events Team calendars, and specific Event documentation.
  • Prepare and process booking confirmations, invoices, and other event-related paperwork.
  • Support the Events Team with day-to-day administrative tasks and operational coordination.
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Support the coordination of logistics for commercial and internal events where required.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of events and venue operations.
  • Provide flexible administrative support to the wider Events Team during busy periods.
