Chemistry & Stability Team Lead
Overview
Lead the Chemistry and Stability function within a regulated laboratory environment, overseeing department operations, technical quality, compliance, team development, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day laboratory activities, workload planning, and team performance.
- Oversee data review, batch audits, investigations, deviations, CAPA, change controls, and quality risk assessments.
- Act as a key contact for clients, supporting meetings, audits, and inspections.
- Review and approve procedures, protocols, reports, and technical documentation.
- Support equipment qualification, calibration, and maintenance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to departmental budgeting, forecasting, and commercial activities.
- Provide leadership, training, mentoring, and development for team members.
- Participate in site leadership and quality management activities.
Requirements
- Degree in a Life Science discipline preferred.
- Significant experience within GMP and/or GLP regulated environments.
- Proven experience in analytical chemistry and stability testing/storage.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a laboratory setting.
