Reed Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Reception-aged pupil on a 1:1 basis at a welcoming primary school in Gloucester. This is a long-term opportunity for 12 months, starting immediately.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 support for a pupil in Reception with special educational needs
Assist with learning activities tailored to the child’s individual needs
Support the child’s social, emotional, and behavioural development
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in Early Years or KS1
A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) are desirable but not essential
