The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4
Support students with varying abilities and needs, adapting teaching strategies where required
Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing timely feedback
Help prepare students for GCSE English Language and Literature
Contribute to a positive learning environment that encourages confidence and resilience
Work closely with colleagues and support staff to ensure all students are supported effectively
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching English up to KS4
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students with diverse needs
A genuine passion for education and improving outcomes for young people
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Experience in alternative provision or working with vulnerable learners is desirable but not essential
