We are seeking a driven culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is ready to support the Head Chef in leading a talented brigade.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Lead and motivate the kitchen team during service
Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation standards
Assist with menu development and seasonal dishes
Ensure food hygiene, health & safety, and HACCP standards are consistently met
Manage stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
Requirements
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef in a high-volume hospitality environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Passion for fresh food and high-quality service
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Food Hygiene certification preferred
