Your Role                                                                                                                                                                                                   As a Senior Accountant, you will take ownership of your own portfolio of clients, managing relationships and delivering high-quality services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building strong, trusted client relationships as a go-to advisor
  • Preparing statutory year-end accounts in line with UK regulations for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Processing and reviewing VAT returns and bookkeeping data.
  • Completing corporation tax returns
  • Producing self-assessment tax returns
  • Supporting clients with general accounting and business queries

About You                                                                                                                                                                                                    We’re looking for someone who is:

  • ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified (or qualified by experience)
  • Experienced within an accountancy practice environment
  • Strong in UK statutory and tax compliance
  • Well versed with systems such as Xero and Quickbooks
  • Commercially aware with a proactive mindset
  • A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Highly organised with strong time management abilities
