The Role:
As a Nurture Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment for students who require additional emotional and behavioural support. You will deliver tailored lessons, build strong and trusting relationships, and help pupils develop the confidence, resilience, and skills they need to succeed both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, differentiated teaching to meet individual learning needs
Support the social and emotional development of students
Implement behaviour strategies and nurture-based approaches
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
Experience working with SEMH, ASD, or challenging behaviour
Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
