We are seeking an organised, professional and enthusiastic Administrator to join a specialist education setting that supports children and young people aged 2–19 with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys being at the heart of a school community. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of administrative operations while providing a welcoming and professional service to pupils, families, staff and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the school leadership team and wider staff.
  • Manage telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate pupil and staff records in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Support attendance, admissions and general school administration processes.
  • Prepare letters, reports, meeting documentation and other correspondence.
  • Coordinate diaries, appointments and meetings as required.
  • Assist with data entry and the maintenance of school management systems.
  • Welcome visitors and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous administrative experience, ideally within education, healthcare or a busy office environment.
  • Possesses excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Has strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Can prioritise workloads effectively and work independently when required.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintains confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Has a positive, flexible and proactive approach to work.
