The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and ambitious Sales Development Executive to join a growing business within the construction and interiors sector. You will play a key role in generating new business opportunities, building relationships, and developing a strong pipeline across sectors such as education, commercial, leisure and retail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new business through outbound calls and targeted outreach
  • Build and develop relationships with contractors, architects, specifiers and end users
  • Identify and research upcoming projects and key decision-makers
  • Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Follow up on quotes and enquiries to maximise conversion rates
  • Maintain accurate records on CRM systems
  • Arrange meetings, site visits, and support senior sales colleagues
  • Work towards individual sales targets and KPIs

  • Previous experience in sales, business development, internal sales or account management
  • Confident and resilient communicator, comfortable with cold calling
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Target-driven with a proactive and self-motivated attitude
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
