Reed Business Support are currently recruiting for a Sales Advisor on behalf of a growing and innovative business based in Rochester. This is an exciting opportunity to join a customer-focused organisation.
The Role
As a Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer journey, from initial enquiry through to project completion and aftercare. You will manage incoming leads, provide expert advice, and ensure a seamless sales and delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer enquiries via multiple channels including digital platforms, marketing campaigns and referrals
Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored product advice
Convert enquiries into confirmed sales, preparing quotations and processing orders accurately
Manage projects end-to-end, liaising with internal departments including production, logistics, and delivery teams
Ensure customer expectations are met in line with agreed timelines and service standards
Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently, escalating where necessary
Maintain accurate records on CRM systems, ensuring all interactions and actions are logged
Support marketing initiatives and contribute to business development activity
Gather customer feedback and support after-sales care to enhance overall experience
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
Commercial awareness and a consultative approach to selling
Confident using IT systems, including CRM platforms
Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
A proactive team player with a customer-first approach
