We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Sport and Public Service Lecturer to join our team. This role involves teaching students of varying abilities, from Level 1 to Level 3, and collaborating closely with the Curriculum Manager to expand and develop the department. Your industry experience will be pivotal in inspiring the next generation and supporting diverse students to achieve their career and life ambitions.

Day-to-day of the role:

Teach and mentor students across Level 1 to Level 3 in sport and public service courses.

Collaborate with the Curriculum Manager on departmental expansion and development to ensure the delivery of high-quality education.

Inspire students using your industry experience, helping them to realise their potential and career aspirations.

Play a key role in promoting sport and public service courses, participating in marketing events and sharing your professional experiences.

Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with educational trends and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience.

Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).

Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and confidently to class groups in an engaging manner.

Efficient administration skills to maintain accurate student records and support effective student management.
