Product Development Manager

Annual Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 (DOE)

Join a thriving family-run business as a Product Development Manager. This pivotal role places you on the Senior Leadership Team, where you will lead and shape the future of the company's Product Development capabilities.

Day-to-day of the role:

Lead and develop the company's product portfolio, including New Product Development and enhancement of existing products.
Innovate on how current products can be introduced into new markets.
Provide technical direction to ensure products meet customer requirements and operational capability.
Support business decision-making through strong technical knowledge.
Lead a team of 3, including R&D and Software Engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong background in Mechanical Engineering, ideally at a degree level.
Proven experience in bringing new products to market.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams.
Commercial awareness and pragmatic decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience in HVAC, industrial products, and technically complex manufacturing environments would be advantageous.
