CNC Setter/Operator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Setter/Operator to join a successful manufacturing company. This permanent role offers the chance to work within a dynamic team, setting and operating CNC machines, primarily lathes, in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Setting and operating two different CNC machines, focusing mainly on lathes.
- Inspecting own work to ensure it meets the required quality standards.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Performing additional tasks such as de-burring, linishing, wire brushing, manual turning/milling, and goods-in receiving which involves heavy lifting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in setting and operating CNC machines.
- TIG welding skills are advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Keen interest in engineering and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small manufacturing team.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organised workspace and communal areas.

Work Hours:
