We are seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join our vibrant academy in Stratford, where we deliver a robust science curriculum up to GCSE level. This role is ideal for a candidate who possesses strong experience in the UK education system, ideally beyond initial teacher training such as PGCE.
Day-to-day of the role:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Physics lessons to students up to GCSE level.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and educational practices.
Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure all students are actively engaged.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a positive and conducive learning environment.
Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop new curriculum materials and coordinate activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Strong background in teaching Physics, with substantial experience in UK schools.
Excellent knowledge of the current curriculum and GCSE requirements for Physics.
Proven ability to manage classrooms and promote good student behaviour.
Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to professional development and a proactive approach to improving teaching practices.
