We are currently working with a highly reputable organisation within the tech sector who are looking to appoint an Interim Payroll Officer on an immediate basis to provide cover during a period of leave.
This is an initial 3-month assignment, with the potential for extension depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the delivery of an accurate and timely end-to-end payroll process
Managing a manual payroll environment, ensuring all calculations and adjustments are processed correctly
Processing payroll using ADP (candidates must have prior experience with this system)
Handling employee payroll queries, providing clear and timely responses
Working closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and payroll inputs
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls
Supporting payroll reconciliations and reporting where required
Key Requirements:
Proven experience working in a payroll position within a manual payroll environment
Strong working knowledge of ADP is essential – candidates without this experience will not be considered
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to liaise directly with employees and internal teams
Ability to start immediately and quickly get up to speed
