Analyse and assess annual review recommendations, decide whether to amend an EHCP, and respond accordingly within statutory guidelines. Support the EHCIO in the production, analysis, and interpretation of audits of performance relating to annual reviews, including complaints and reporting on outcomes. Organise and effectively deliver the Local Authority's obligations in relation to the annual review of EHCPs across the academic year in partnership with families, schools, and other professionals. Maintain effective communication with parents, schools, central services, health, and social care professionals on individual cases. Undertake any necessary casework and consultations with schools, families, or other professionals prior to issuing an amended EHCP. Required Skills & Qualifications: Recent and relevant experience in a specialist area involving multi-professional assessment. Experience in a special educational needs context within a Local Authority or statutory body. Experience working with parents, schools, and other agencies in relevant areas of work. Experience of planning within a statutory framework. Proficiency in extracting information from a range of data sources and presenting it in different formats according to the audience. Working understanding of the Children’s and Families Act and the statutory process for an Education, Health and Care Plan. Working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.
