Motor Vehicle Lecturer

Day-to-day of the role of a Motor Vehicle Lecturer :

  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures on lightweight vehicle maintenance and repair for levels 1-3.
  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through practical and theoretical assessments.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the automotive industry to ensure relevant and current teaching content.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Motor Vehicle Lecturer role:

  • Must possess a teaching qualification e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed. ( Desirable )
  • Extensive experience in the automotive industry, specifically with IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry) standards.
  • Proven ability to teach and mentor students at various levels of technical expertise.
