We are recruiting for a creative and hands-on Marcomms & Media Production Assistant to support a busy education setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple school sites, creating engaging content that brings school life to life. You’ll be involved in everything from video production and design to events and social media, making this a highly varied and rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and format communications including newsletters, letters, policies, and marketing materials
- Film, edit, and produce video content for training, events, and internal use
- Capture photography across school sites and create visual assets
- Manage and update social media channels, promoting school activities and achievements
- Create graphics for websites, displays, and campaigns
- Maintain and update internal systems and intranet content
- Support the setup and delivery of events, including AV equipment and recording
- Ensure all content follows brand and quality standards
About You
- Creative and enthusiastic, with an interest in working in education
- Experience in design, video production, and digital content creation
- Able to manage multiple projects and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with staff across different sites
- Flexible and willing to travel between locations
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
- Video filming and editing experience
- Strong graphic design skills with an eye for branding
- Experience managing social media platforms
- Confident using Microsoft Word for formatting documents
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a school or education environment
- WordPress or website management
- Email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp)
- Experience supporting events or AV setups
