Are you a resilient and dedicated Maths Teacher looking to make a real impact? We are currently working with a supportive and well-established Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the Folkestone area that is seeking a committed Maths specialist to join their team on a permanent basis from September.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support and inspire students who require an alternative approach to education, helping them re-engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to students with additional needs
• Support pupils with a range of challenges, including SEMH and behavioural needs
• Build strong relationships to promote engagement and positive behaviour
• Work closely with support staff and senior leadership
• Track progress and contribute to personalised learning plans

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Maths (KS3/KS4 preferred)
• Experience working within a PRU, alternative provision, or with challenging behaviour (desirable)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (required)
  • If not held, we can support you in processing one
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
