We are seeking a Marketing Executive to assist the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing innovative marketing campaigns to grow our direct sales of key products and services. This role will be pivotal in delivering marketing campaigns across multiple channels to maximise revenue from magazines, specials, books, and events as determined by the company’s strategy.
Day-to-day of the role:
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to drive sales with a strong ROI for all products and services.
Implement omnichannel marketing campaigns including email, social, display, PPC, and re-marketing to engage and delight consumer audiences.
Manage data acquisition and enrichment to grow audiences and enhance our understanding of them, helping to feed the purchase funnel.
Oversee the in-house advertising schedule, making optimum use of owned inventory on page and across digital properties.
Manage the creation of creative assets, briefing on-brand assets, and writing compelling marketing copy that engages our audience segments.
Deliver the marketing plan and objectives for events as agreed with the marketing manager and publisher.
Continually test and improve campaign creative, copy, and audience targeting to ensure campaign optimisation using analytics data to inform strategy.
Monitor campaign performance and report relevant KPIs to help inform future strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Degree level or equivalent marketing qualification; CIM qualification is desirable.
Minimum 2 years in a digital marketing role, with experience in a publishing or media business preferred.
Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics to a high standard.
Knowledge of CRM and database management (e.g., Hubspot).
Understanding of social media marketing, PPC, and email marketing.
Skills in creative design software and knowledge of HTML/CSS are a bonus.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to juggle tasks, work under pressure, and prioritise time effectively.
