Join a global leader in in-store merchandising and communication as a Junior HR Business Partner. This role is crucial in supporting managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle, contributing to our business strategy and enhancing organisational effectiveness.
Day-to-day of the role:
HR Processes: Implement, administer, and communicate HR processes such as engagement surveys, recognition programs, and HR Information Systems. Drive the simplification and digitalization of HR processes.
Payroll: Manage local payroll processes and administration, and act as a backup for payroll in other locations as needed.
Employment Law: Provide HR expertise in employee relations and employment law.
Recruitment: Support the approval process, conduct interviews, and manage employment agreements.
Performance Management: Coach and partner with managers on goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development activities.
Capability Development: Identify capability priorities and manage local initiatives, promoting our 70.20.10 learning philosophy.
Change Management: Support the implementation and communication of organizational changes.
Compensation: Assist with the annual salary review process and bonus plans.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of broad generalist HR experience, with essential payroll experience.
CIPD qualification and/or HR-related university degree preferred.
Experience in an international environment, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
Comprehensive understanding of HR functions and best practices.
Strong relationship-building and trust-building capabilities.
Good understanding of UK employment legislation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS, and ideally Sage Payroll.
