Full time, permanent on-site position (Monday to Friday)
The Role
Reporting into the Head of HR, you will act as the operational lead for HR and support the delivery of people-focused initiatives across the organisation.
Working within a small HR team, you will support a workforce of 200+ employees in a varied role with a strong emphasis on recruitment and employee relations.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting a small HR team, overseeing day-to-day HR operations
Managing end-to-end recruitment for a range of roles, partnering with hiring managers
Providing expert advice on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance cases
Supporting workforce planning and coordination of temporary or casual staff
Overseeing the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding
Advising managers on HR best practice and UK employment law
Supporting the development of HR policies, processes and engagement initiatives
Acting as deputy to the Head of HR when required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a fast-paced environment
Hold a CIPD qualification (or be qualified by experience)
Demonstrate strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
Be a confident communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships
Take a proactive, hands-on and commercially aware approach
Have experience with HR systems and reporting
