Learning Lead – Mental Health Division
Location: Hybrid, Liverpool office base
Working hours: Full Time - 35hours (9am – 4.30pm) can be flexible
25 days holidays with the option to buy/sell additional
Salary: £48,796
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Learning Lead to join the Mental Health Division of our client, helping build a high-performing, skilled, and confident workforce. This is a key role where you’ll shape how people learn, grow, and develop, ensuring the team have the skills they need to deliver outstanding care now and in the future.
You’ll work closely with senior managers across the organisation, lead a small team, and drive impactful learning strategies that make a real difference.
What You’ll Be Doing
Partnering with managers to identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions
Designing and delivering innovative training programmes (workshops, coaching, e-learning, etc.)
Leading and developing a team of Learning Partners
Driving a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the organisation
Supporting organisational change and OD (Organisational Development) initiatives
Evaluating training effectiveness using data and feedback to ensure real impact
Managing external training providers and relationships
Providing 1:1 coaching and support to managers and teams
Reviewing and improving existing training processes for efficiency
Managing budgets and ensuring effective use of resources
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
An experienced Learning & Development / Training professional
Confident working within mental health, healthcare, or social care settings
A strong leader, with experience managing or mentoring others
Skilled in designing and delivering high-quality training programmes
Comfortable influencing stakeholders and working at all levels
A strategic thinker who can also be hands-on in delivery
Organised, proactive, and solution-focused
Essential Experience
Experience in a Learning Lead, Training Manager, or similar role
Proven track record of delivering training within a mental health or healthcare environment
Strong knowledge of learning and development best practices
Experience with a range of training methods (coaching, workshops, digital learning etc.)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Education, HR, Learning & Development)
