We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team in Brighton on a fixed-term contract. This hands-on, generalist role involves supporting the business across the full employee lifecycle and driving key HR projects and initiatives.
Day-to-day of the role:
Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver effective HR solutions.
Manage employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence.
Support and lead on HR projects such as restructures, policy updates, and change management.
Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes.
Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant and up to date.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on best practice.
Maintain HR systems and ensure accurate employee records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
Confident in managing complex employee relations cases.
CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
