The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering automotive components to manufacturing facilities across the UK.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
• Complete deliveries to automotive manufacturing plants
• Conduct vehicle checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation
• Adhere to all Health & Safety requirements

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

✔ Valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
✔ Maximum 6 penalty points
✔ Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC/DQC)
✔ Valid Digital Tachograph Card
✔ Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
✔ Strong understanding of driver compliance and road transport legislation
✔ Excellent communication and customer service skills
✔ Good numeracy and literacy skills
✔ High attention to detail
✔ Flexible and professional approach

Desirable

✔ Previous automotive or manufacturing logistics experience
