Transport Assistant

- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break
We are seeking a versatile individual to join our team as a Vehicle Operations and Fleet Admin Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable both behind the wheel and handling administrative duties.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Drive and manage a 3.5 tonne van around the site, approximately 2-3 times a week.
- Ferry vehicles to and from appointments, including 13-week mini MOT checks.
- Conduct basic walkaround checks of vehicles, take photos of any damages, and upload these for documentation.
- Support fleet administration tasks including licence checks, fuel card ordering, managing correspondence related to damages and fines, and assisting with short-term car hire.
- Handle fleet ons and offs, off leasing, and support local vehicle movements.
- Utilize internal systems and documents, proficiently using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older with a valid driving licence (no more than 6 points) and at least 2-3 years of driving experience to be insured for driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle.
- Comfortable with both outdoor physical tasks and indoor administrative duties.
- Competent in using a PC for basic administrative tasks, such as uploading pictures.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
