About the Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Woking area from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner to deliver high-quality teaching and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic progress and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress and attainment
Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
Maintain high expectations of behaviour in line with school policies
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
Contribute to the wider life of the school
Person Specification
Essential:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within a UK primary or secondary setting
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Ability to inspire and engage pupils
Desirable:
Experience within a specific key stage or subject area
Commitment to ongoing professional development
