Salary: Up tp £32,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
An established and well-respected accountancy practice on the Wirral is seeking a Bookkeeper to join it's growing team.
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial records and assisting with the preparation of client accounts. You'll work closely with managers and clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial informtation is maintained.
Key Responsibilites
- Bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
- Processing sales and purchase invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT return preparation and submission
- Managing client records using cloud-based software
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
- Processing payroll information where required
- Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
- Supporting the wider accounts team with ad hoc duties
About You
- Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience within an accountancy practice
- Experience preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach
- AAT qualified or studying towards AAT qualificatiion would be advantageous
- Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
