ACCOUNTS MANAGER

Supervisory Role

Duties:
Assist with and oversee all sales ledger activities, ensuring duties are completed accurately and on a timely basis.
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of customer receipts
Produce monthly sales reports for customers as requested
Maintain and control customer rebate accruals in line with agreed terms and produce associated monthly, quarterly and annual rebate credits and/or payments
Produce and distribute monthly sales reports to directors and Area Sales Managers
Assist and oversee the accounts team with their purchase ledger duties to include:
Assist and oversee the accounts team with their banking ledger duties to include:
Daily reconciliation of GBP bank accounts and the RBS invoice discounting ledger
Resolve any cashing-up discrepancies that arise
Reconcile foreign currency bank accounts
Reconcile loan accounts and post any interest journals required
Enter foreign supplier invoices using correct exchange rate
Arrange foreign payments as required, using brokers where appropriate
Assist the Group Financial Director with payroll-related duties
Ensure intercompany entries are processed and reconciled between companies within the Group
Support the Group Financial Director with the timely close of the month and production of management accounts
Posting of month-end journals, including prepayments, accruals, closing stock and depreciation
Manage the day-to-day activities of the accounts team
