The Opportunity
We’re looking for a driven and commercially sharp Area Sales Manager to take ownership of a key territory across the South of England. This is a field-based role with regular travel, where no two days are the same — from site visits to client meetings and everything in between.
You’ll be responsible for growing an established customer base while unlocking new business opportunities across the region.
What You’ll Be Doing
Driving sales growth across the South through a mix of account management and new business
Spending time on the road visiting contractors, developers, merchants, and project sites
Building and strengthening long-term client relationships
Identifying and converting new opportunities within the construction sector
Managing the full sales cycle — from initial contact to closing deals
Collaborating with internal teams to deliver best-in-class service
Keeping ahead of market trends and competitor activity
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in construction, building materials, or a related sales environment
A strong track record of achieving and exceeding targets
A proactive, self-motivated individual who enjoys being out in the field
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage a large territory with independence and confidence
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the South
