Join our well-established company with 30 years of experience in the construction industry, specialising in property decoration, restoration, maintenance, roofing, and refurbishment services. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our busy team in North-West London. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Day-to-day of the role:
Typing reports and preparing quotations to a high standard.
Managing incoming calls and email enquiries professionally.
Scheduling and diary management for onsite operatives.
Updating and maintaining accurate Purchase Order (PO) records.
Uploading documentation to internal/cloud-based systems.
Chasing outstanding requests and ensuring timely follow-ups.
Supporting the Office Manager and providing cover when required.
Liaising with clients and contractors in a confidential and professional manner.
Prioritising incoming work requests effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM (essential due to high volume of typing).
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent written and spoken English.
Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills:
Experience within the construction or building industry.
Marketing and/or social media knowledge.
Full, clean UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
