Job Title: Data Management and Administration Officer Reports to: CEO Duration: 4 weeks plus Location: Office‑Based in Buxton (with some flexible working) Safeguarding Requirement: Enhanced DBS check and/or existing DBS Update Service registration
Role Purpose
To provide high‑quality administrative and data management support. The role will focus on supporting a transformational data management project. The role will include the assessing volumes of data and beginning the process of entering and updating information across organisational Care and HR systems. The postholder will ensure accurate, timely and compliant record‑keeping in line with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Review, assess and organise significant volumes of data from a range of internal sources.
Accurately enter and update information onto care systems, HR systems and associated databases.
Ensure records meet social care regulatory expectations, good‑practice standards and internal policies.
Identify gaps, inconsistencies or issues within datasets and escalate where needed.
Support the evaluation of existing service work, processes and documentation.
Maintain secure, confidential handling of sensitive information in line with GDPR and safeguarding guidance.
Make intuitive, informed decisions where required, using judgement to prioritise workload effectively.
Produce simple reports, summaries or data outputs to support service leads.
Collaborate with colleagues to clarify information, confirm accuracy, and support smooth workflow processes.
Provide general administrative support such as filing, organising documents, tracking progress and updating logs.
Provide clear reports on operational issues, risk, for relevant subgroups and Board Meetings.
Work with the CEO to ensure systems are effectively established and streamlined, assessing current and future workloads
Manage and monitor health and safety systems in line with HSE guidance,
Uphold policies relating to Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, Dignity at Work and environmental responsibility.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
For the position, the hourly rate of pay is up to £14.00 depending on experience, and this is paid on a weekly basis, each week after the work is completed.
Ideally they are looking for someone to start on June 29th, possibly a few days earlier to do a handover,
