The CIPD offers qualifications at Foundation, Associate and Advanced level. Our team is happy to discuss which level is right for you and answer any questions you have relating to your role, educational background and experience.
Level 3 or Foundation, is an entry point qualification and is ideal if you have little HR or L&D experience. You may just be starting your career or thinking about a move from your current role into HR/L&D.
Level 5 or Associate, is set at an undergraduate standard and is intended for those with some HR or L&D knowledge and experience. You could be looking to develop your skills and knowledge to move into a more senior role.
Level 7 or Advanced, is a postgraduate qualification and is reserved for HR and L&D professionals with more experience looking to develop their strategic understanding and knowledge.
Both programmes are 100% online and the learning is the same. The main difference is our fast track programmes have been designed for candidates who want to progress through their qualification as quickly as possible. For example, we allow 8-10 months for our fast track CIPD Associate programme and 12 months for online and workshop study routes.
