Just look at the job adverts! Most employers need applicants to be CIPD qualified so in a competitive jobs market it’s definitely a qualification worth having. You’ll also gain membership to a community full of advice, guidance and resources to support your career. In addition, it will increase your knowledge, network and skills! Research shows you also may be paid a higher salary.
The CIPD offers qualifications at Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced level. Our team is happy to discuss which level is right for you and answer any questions you have relating to your role, educational background and experience.
Level 3 or Foundation, is an entry point qualification and is ideal if you have little HR or L&D experience. You may just be starting your career or thinking about a move from your current role into HR/L&D.
Level 5 or Associate, is set at an undergraduate standard and is intended for those with some HR or L&D knowledge and experience. You could be looking to develop your skills and knowledge to move into a more senior role.
Level 7 or Advanced, is a postgraduate qualification and is reserved for HR and L&D professionals with more experience looking to develop their strategic understanding and knowledge.
Both programmes are 100% online and the learning is the same. The main difference is our fast track programmes have been designed for candidates who want to progress through their qualification as quickly as possible. For example, we allow 8-10 months for our fast track CIPD Associate programme and 12 months for online and workshop study routes.
It couldn’t be easier. Once you are happy with your choice of qualification, simply click on the link, complete the form and as soon as payment has been received we’ll be in touch and you will be ready to start your learning journey!
Of course. We offer up to 12 monthly interest free instalments for any candidates who are paying for their qualification themselves.
We give all our learners learning contracts which differ in length depending on the level and programme type. These vary from 3 months for a Fast Track Foundation qualification to 2 years for an Advanced Level Diploma. We can help you choose the right programme based on the amount of time you have to dedicate to studying.
Definitely. All our CIPD qualifications are available to international students and we have candidates from all over the world. International candidates mainly opt for our 100% online courses.

Sue delivered a really good session that I found to be massively helpful in understanding the course content. Sue's approach and way of explaining things are particularly useful and I feel much better about my submission as a result of this. Thank you Sue!

This morning session was on a module I'm finding particularly challenging to get my head around. After the session I have a much better understanding and feel a lot more confident in what I need to do. It was all very well explained and very reassuring.

Trainer took the time to discuss the groups current experiences in relation to the course which provided a greater understanding of how to apply work related situations and how it could answer the criterium. The resources are a cross section of information, library of reading, listening, and videos which give a wide overview of research and experiences to draw from. Having the opportunity to discuss a PESTLE analysis as a group at the end of the session provided greater insight into situations that I hadn't previously considered.

I did not receive the link for the webinar and had to chase this on the morning of the webinar which was not ideal. This is my first proper module and I feel a bit like bambi at the moment!

Lorraine has been an absolutely fantastic supervisor. She is knowledgeable and talks through concepts really well - most of the time, once I'd spoken to Lorraine, I understood completely! She is warm and approachable and definitely went above and beyond in offering check-ins and 121s - even if just for the odd 15 minutes to chat something through. I genuinely believe that She has been instrumental in my getting through the course so quickly as she was encouraging, but didn't nag. I will really miss her!!!!

It is still a common occurrence among all sorts of small companies operating in different sectors to have no dedicated HR manager. It’s even more common for such companies to share out the HR function to a range of people within the organisation with no one having overall responsibility.
“I am living proof that you don’t need a degree to get the advanced diploma, but you do need dedication and to take your work seriously. Getting the qualification helped me to be more strategic, to evaluate evidence and to understand the reasons why I was doing things in a certain way. It gave me extra confidence and the belief that what I was doing was correct.” Steve Way, Head of Human Resources at Aquaterra Energy
