Are you an experienced assembler with a passion for precision and quality? Do you take pride in producing high-standard electronic assemblies and thrive in a hands-on manufacturing environment?

We're looking for a skilled Electronic Assembler to join our growing production team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of electronic products, utilise your soldering expertise, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality assemblies for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Electronic Assembler, you'll play a vital role in the production process, ensuring products are built accurately and to the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Hand soldering Through Hole Technology (THT) components onto PCB assemblies

✅ Supporting Surface Mount Technology (SMT) soldering and rework activities

✅ Carrying out in-process inspections, including:

• Tacking inspections
• First-off inspections
• Quality checks on assemblies completed by colleagues

✅ Reworking THT and SMT components where required

✅ Preparing, processing, and assembling wires and cable assemblies

✅ Operating selective soldering equipment for THT assemblies

✅ Following build instructions and technical documentation accurately

✅ Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

✔ Strong hand soldering experience and a high standard of workmanship

✔ Previous experience within electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly

✔ The ability to read and interpret work instructions and assembly documentation

✔ Excellent attention to detail and quality standards

✔ The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively

✔ A flexible and positive attitude with a strong work ethic

✔ Good reliability and a commitment to achieving production targets

Desirable Skills

⭐ Experience with J-STD-001 (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies)

⭐ Experience with both THT and SMT assembly processes

⭐ Previous inspection or quality control experience within electronics manufacturing
