Maintenance Technician
Location: Exeter | Full-Time: 37.5 Hours |
Reed Engineering is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company in Exeter for a Maintenance Technician. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and ensuring maximum uptime across the site.
Shift Pattern (3-Week Rotation)
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 8:00am – 4:00pm
- 10:00am – 6:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Carry out boiler maintenance and checks.
- Maintain steam, condensate, compressed air, and pressure systems.
- Issue Permits to Work and Isolation Certificates.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and environmental standards.
- Record maintenance activities and manage spare parts requirements.
- Support contractors and production teams when required.
