We are currently recruiting for one of my favourite clients who are looking for a Transport Executive focusing on Flights. This role is crucial in delivering first-rate customer service and ensuring all service elements are delivered with high quality and on time. You will be instrumental in managing flight bookings and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers to meet and exceed service level agreements SLAs and KPIs.

Whilst you don't need previous travel experience, a solid organisational/administrative background is essential.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Make flight bookings, adhering to tight deadlines and ensuring bookings are processed accurately.
  • Communicate cancellations to relevant suppliers and ensure all stakeholders are informed.
  • Keep relevant systems up-to-date with accurate flight details and information.
  • Engage in pricing and planning for future tours.
  • Ensure all flight bookings, both ad hoc and groups, are booked and loaded efficiently.
  • Handle ad-hoc flight requests to meet our SLA.
  • Process all customer information in compliance with GDPR.
  • Provide wider support for the transport team.
  • Monitor ticket deadlines and manage customer e-tickets.
  • Engage in forward planning, pricing, and ordering for future groups.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and organise effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with GDS preferred but not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to problem solve and make decisions confidently.
  • A strong interest in travel and good geographical knowledge.
  • A methodical and organised approach to work, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of following written and verbal instructions clearly.
