The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support students both academically and personally. You may provide whole-class support, work with small groups, or offer one-to-one assistance to students who require additional help.

• Supporting teaching and learning across a range of subjects.
• Assisting students in the classroom to help them achieve their potential.
• Working with small groups and individual students.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement with learning.
• Supporting students with additional educational needs where required.
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

• A passion for working with young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, flexible and positive approach.
• Previous experience working with children, young people or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
• Graduates, aspiring teachers and experienced Teaching Assistants are all encouraged to apply.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
