We are looking for a reliable and organised Temporary Stock Assistant to support our clients stock team.

This is not a warehouse-based role; the successful candidate will work across several stock rooms in Sheffield, helping to receive deliveries, asset tag equipment, organise stock, and maintain tidy and safe storage areas.

The role also involves occasional driving between sites/locations, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

Based in Sheffield office 5 days a week, with occasion travel. Hours 8:30-17:30

Full time salary – real living wage £27,976

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and check incoming deliveries
  • Asset tag and accurately record stock items
  • Move stock to the appropriate stock rooms and storage areas
  • Maintain clean, tidy, and organised stock rooms
  • Assist with stock control and inventory management
  • Ensure storage areas remain safe, clear, and accessible
  • Support the wider stock and logistics team with day-to-day tasks
  • Carry out occasional driving/delivery duties as required

 

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move stock safely
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills for stock recording systems preferred
  • Previous stock room, stores, logistics, or inventory experience beneficial but not essential
