We are seeking a highly experienced Account Manager to drive growth across key retail and wholesale accounts within the Mediterranean food sector. This senior role involves account development and team leadership, providing a significant opportunity to influence commercial strategy in a dynamic market.
Day-to-day of the role:
Manage and enhance relationships with major UK supermarkets and key independent retail/wholesale groups.
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Mediterranean food sector.
Lead commercial negotiations, establish pricing strategies, and plan promotions.
Oversee and develop a small team of account managers.
Collaborate closely with New Product Development (NPD) and marketing teams to drive product launches and category growth.
Contribute to the overall commercial strategy and help achieve revenue targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven track record in managing major supermarket
Strong network within UK retail and/or foodservice wholesale channels.
Deep understanding of Mediterranean food categories, particularly
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing commercial teams.
Highly commercial mindset with robust negotiation skills.
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-driven approach.
