SEND Lecturer
- Hourly Rate: Up to £25 - £35 per hour
- Job Type: Part-time/Full time
- Location: East London
Day-to-day of the role of an SEND Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with special educational needs.
- Support pupils by planning learning activities linked to their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with therapists and support staff to enhance the learning experience and meet the holistic needs of the pupils.
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to annual reviews, ensuring educational goals are being met.
- Promote independence, confidence, and wellbeing among pupils through effective teaching strategies and positive reinforcement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working within SEMH in an SEN setting
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices.
- Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the Update Service.
- Right to work in the UK.
