You will work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and pastoral teams to deliver tailored support that enables each learner to reach their full potential.

The students you will support have a range of additional and complex needs, including:

  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges
  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Communication and interaction difficulties
  • Behavioural needs linked to trauma or disrupted educational experiences
  • Learning difficulties and gaps in core academic skills

Many students may have experienced barriers in mainstream education and thrive in a nurturing, structured, and therapeutic environment that prioritises relationship-building, consistency, and emotional wellbeing.

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning needs
  • Build trusting, positive relationships that encourage engagement and confidence
  • Support students in managing emotions and behaviour through consistent and calm approaches
  • Assist in delivering differentiated learning activities across the curriculum
  • Promote independence, resilience, and self-esteem
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and wider staff to support EHCP targets and individual plans
